Sophia Loren's Racism

Sophia Loren who is an Italian film actress can be judged truthfully as a racist individual. When we speak of racism we are speaking here of color racism or skin color prejudice against individuals who are people of color such as African American individuals. This is something that must be exposed and something that must be declared concerning Sophia Loren.

In a quote from Sophia Loren's own lips she said this:

“I was so skinny, they gave me the nickname stechetto - the stick. I was tall, thin, ugly and dark like an Arab girl. I looked strange. All eyes. No flesh on my bones.”

Sophia Loren compared Arab girls to being "ugly and dark" in the quote. It is to be noted that before someone speaks they more than likely would have thought about their very own words before they would eventually say what they had to say.

It seems more than likely that Sophia Loren was thinking of Arab girls in a discriminatory way and thus was able speak about them in a discriminatory fashion.

In the same token just imagine then what she might be thinking or even saying about Black individuals also as well.

Regardless as to what anyone says this woman is still racist.

Sophia Loren's origins come from Italy. It is a well known fact that under Mussolini anti-semitic ideas and behavior were welcomed.

This has led to other forms of racial bias against certain groups based upon color of skin.

For example, Cécile Kyenge, Italy's first black government minister had bananas thrown at her and a councillor who happens to be female for the Northern League said Cécile Kyenge should be raped and even a senator from the Northern League compared Cécile Kyenge to an orangutan.

With such truly despicable racist ways found in Italy one can be quite sure that Sophia Loren is definitely not immune to such at all.

Therefore the designation of racism being attributed to Sophia Loren can be both fair and just.
